International tourist arrivals worldwide are expected to increase on average by 3.3% from 2010 to 2030. It would reach 1.8 Bn by 2030, according to UNWTO’s long-term forecast report Tourism Towards 2030. During 2010 to 2030 arrivals in emerging destinations will have average increase of 4.4% a year, which is almost double of those in advanced economies (+2.2% a year). Further the market share of emerging economies will increase from 45% in 2015 to 57% by 2030, equivalent to over 1 billion international tourist arrivals.
